What is Financial Aid?
Financial Aid is any scholarships, grants, loans, or employment used to help you pay 为 大学费用. Aid can come from various sources such as federal and state agencies, colleges, high schools, foundations, and corporations. Typically, grants and scholarships are not rep援助; loans must be rep援助. Interest rates and repayment terms vary by program.
Who is Eligible 为 Financial Aid?
To be eligible 为 federal financial 援助 assistance you must:
- 做一个U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Be registered with Selective Service, if required
- Be an undergraduate, graduate or professional student enrolled at least half-time (except 为 less than half-time Pell Grant) in a degree-seeking program
- Make satisfactory academic progress
- Not be in default on an educational loan
